And not to mention, you’re tired of spending all this time planning “fun” activities for your preschooler, and they rarely spend more than 5 minutes on it!
Keeping a preschooler occupied all day is a never-ending job.
Sure, you can find a million ideas on Pinterest.
But to get them organized, shop for supplies, and set up the activities takes more mental effort than you have some days.
Most of the time, your preschooler doesn’t even spend 5 minutes on the activity that took you days to prepare for.
And what you probably don’t know, is that most of the activities on Pinterest are NOT developmentally appropriate.
I’m getting frustrated just thinking about it!
What you need is something that’s organized and easy to use.
You need fun and engaging activities that can be put together in a moment’s notice.
You want to be that cool and creative mom that always has fun learning activities for her kids.
Then it’s time to become a Beta Tester for The Playhouse! Be the first to experience our activities and have a huge influence on making this into a program other families will love. Hurry! There are only 25 Beta Tester spots available and the cart closes on December 18!
The Playhouse is a two year play-based preschool at home curriculum. It’s divided into 2 years with each year containing 12 seasonal themes.
Hands-on learning is exactly as it says...hands ON! Children at this age learn best through concrete manipulation of objects. All of our activities use hands-on materials. No worksheets!
Get all the activities laid out on a simple calendar followed with step by step directions on how to set up the activity. Then simply let your child explore. Plus, you only have to plan and prep one activity a day!
Who wants to make a long list of materials and shop before doing activities with their child? Not me! Most activities can be done with materials found around the house.
Our activities are designed to support growth in all the important areas such as fine motor, gross motor, social-emotional, and cognitive development. You choose how academic you want the curriculum to be. Just do the unit study activities or add in our full literacy and math curriculums for extra academic learning.
Most lessons are adaptable to reach all ability levels and to practice a variety of skills with one activity. Most lessons have ideas on how to make the activity easier or more challenging. If you have older learners, there is even suggestions on how to involve them in some of the activities.
Children learn best through play, plus it makes learning fun. Most of our activities are designed to be set out during your child’s free play time, so it doesn’t feel like learning at all. Plus, when your child is done, you can just place it on the shelf for them to come back to throughout the whole unit.
We’ve tried to make our lesson plans easy to follow and provide you with all the information to help you confidently plan activities.
Each lesson plan includes:
If the lesson requires it, you will also find:
As a beta tester, you get first access to all of our monthly releases and you’ll be able to give your feedback each month helping make this the best preschool program out there. Plus you also get a 50% discount on Year 2 when it’s released at the end of 2022.
In addition to the 12 seasonal unit studies, you’ll also get our holiday themed unit studies with hands-on activities. Celebrate the holidays with week-long, play-based fun. These can be easily added into the main curriculum.
Want to take the academic learning up a notch? Follow our full literacy and math curriculums! These full play-based curriculums help you systematically prepare your preschooler for Kindergarten.
Get a skills checklist for ages 2-5. Be sure your child is on track and always know what skills you need to focus on.
This is a brand new program that we are only offering to beta testers right now. Cart closes on December 18 or when we reach 25 beta testers.
The official open date is January 1. However, you will receive the first unit study by December 28, so you have time to gather materials and plan out your day.
Each year is sold separately. The bonus units are the same in each, but the core units are different. All units are designed for ages 3-6, so it doesn’t really matter which year you choose.
Year 1 will start to release one unit at a time starting on January 1. Year 2 will not be available until Fall 2022.
All of our content is secular and can be used by anyone. We do not mention any beliefs in our material. We try to stick to scientific facts without adding an evolution or creation point of view.
Once you complete your purchase, you will receive a welcome email. On December 28, an email with the first unit and access to the membership site will be delivered.
As a beta tester, you will get a seperate email at the end of each unit that asks you for your feedback. This information is super important in helping us create future units.
As a beta tester, you will be helping me with the units by giving your feedback at the end of each month. Because of this, units will be released one month at a time. Each new unit will be released on the 25th of each month.
Most bonuses will be available on January 1. Holiday bonus units will be released the month before they are needed.
